The Currently Featured Print Special
The currently featured print is a special print that I have selected to offer at a lower price than it would normally be offered. This price is valid only while the print is the currently selected print and will return to the standard price when the print is replaced with a new selected print. I will change the selected print fairly often as I produce new work.
Individual Prints
I have personally hand printed each individual print on high quality gelatin-silver fiber paper and processed them in accordance with the most current archival protection criteria to ensure maximum lifespan. Prints designated for individual sale are not part of any portfolio and are limited in edition to 25 prints in 8"x10", 10 prints in 11"x14", and three artists proofs in each size. Each print bears its individual print number in the edition in the margin along with my signature, and complete print information is located on the verso of each print. Your print will arrive very carefully protected in an archival clear bag that is suitable for long term storage.
I have often been asked why I edition photographic prints when they can be so easily duplicated, so I felt that it might be wise to iclude a breif word or two to explain my reasoning. These prints represent my vision, and as I continue to grow, my vision changes. By limiting the number of prints that I make of any negative allows me to create my prints in the darkroom while their idea is fresh in my mind, to continue to work on fresh, new ideas, and it ensures that each print I sell was created with great care and with my original vision for that print. These prints are hand-made, not machine duplications, and I want them to convey the same meaning when you view them as I felt when I made them. That takes time, and effort, and in order to ensure that I can offer only the best prints, I limit their numbers.
Unless otherwise noted, currently available print sizes for individual prints are as follows:
8" x 10"
11" x 14"
Portfolios
I have personally printed every print in each portfolio on high quality gelatin-silver fiber paper and have processed them in accordance with the most current archival protection criteria to ensure maximum lifespan. Each print in the portfolio has been over-matted using acid free Museum board and is ready for framing and display if you so choose. Portfolios are delivered to you in a handsome portfolio box containing a letter from detailing specifics of the portfolio as well as a list of the prints in the portfolio. Portfolio boxes have passed the PAT test for archival stability and are suitable for long term storage.
Portfolio prints are available only as part of their portfolio, and are therefore not available for individual sale. Each portfolio is available in a limited in edition of 15 complete sets and three artists proof sets. Portfolio prints bear their portfolio sequence number and the issue number of the portfolio to which they belong, and complete print information is located on the verso of each print. Each is signed and individually protected in a clear archival bag that is suitable for long term storage.
All portfolio prints are 8" x 10" in an 11" x 14" mat.
Hand colored prints
Hand colored prints are quite time intensive, and as a result, I have chosen to limit each offering to 10 prints. Available print sizes are listed under the image. I have printed and colored each of these prints by hand, and as a result of the intricacies of the hand coloring process, each print is unique. As with Individual prints, each hand colored print bears its print number in the edition in the margin along with my signature. In addition, all relevant information about the print is provided on the verso. Your unique hand colored print will arrive very carefully protected in a clear archival bag that is suitable for long term storage.
Hand colored prints are typically only available only in 8" x 10" or smaller.
Please inquire if size is not indicated for a print

All stereographs feature a full description of the subject on the reverse as well as the title in multiple languages.
